About Shawn: Teaching
Shawn is passionate about sharing business knowledge. He has helped teach courses at Northeastern University, Duke University, the University of Chicago, Dartmouth University, the University of Leicester, and Brandeis University. Additionally, he has experience with one-on-one tutoring, undergraduate mentoring, as well as teaching Master and Ph.D. level students.
Executive Effectiveness
To Shawn, each student matters. In Fall 2018, Shawn was given an instructor feedback score of 4.9 out of 5.0 (N = 50) by a class of Executive MBA students during Operations Management review sessions for the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
Undergraduate and MBA
Anonymous feedback surveys gave Shawn an evaluation score of 5.0 out of 5 for his MBA course on Supply Chain Sustainability at Northeastern’s Business School. Similarly, he achieved a score of 4.9 out of 5 (N=60) for his performance while teaching Procurement and Sourcing at Northeastern University, as well as Operations Management review sessions to MBA students at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
In addition to 7 years of academic teaching experience, Shawn has mentored High School and University students for over a decade. For example, from 2009 to 2013 he managed an international non-profit which mentored hundreds of high-aptitude students, helping them to achieve success in academia and beyond.
