Corporate Social Responsibility

In 2016, Shawn was invited to present his analysis of the United Nation’s 3P-framework against human trafficking (enshrined in the Palermo Protocol) at the INFORMS international conference. This working paper uses game theory to analyze how a government under budget constraints can optimally prevent or cure human trafficking within the supply chains of major companies.

The results of this paper offer insights to governments, as well as NGOs working to incentivize government action. The findings also have application to environmental and labor law enforcement.
